Local SEO & Map Pack
Own the implant searches in your city — on the map and in the organic results
The Google Map Pack drives the highest-intent implant traffic available, and most practices are invisible in it. We rebuild your Google Business Profile, engineer the review and citation signals that decide local rankings, and surround it with a network of implant-specific domains and city pages so a single-site competitor cannot match your coverage. Everything is measured on booked consultations, not rankings alone.
Most dental SEO programmes publish general-dentistry blog posts and report rankings nobody searches for. Implant SEO is a narrower, higher-stakes job: the patient weighing up a full-arch restoration searches for the procedure, the cost, the financing and the surgeon — and then looks at the map. We build for that patient only. The Google Business Profile, the review system, the citations and the content cluster all point at implant and full-arch intent, and the only numbers we report on are the ones a practice owner can reconcile with the schedule.

Inside the system
Why the map pack decides who gets the consultation
When a patient in your city searches for dental implants, the three practices in the map pack get the call before anyone scrolls to the organic results. Position in that pack is decided by a handful of signals Google weights heavily: how complete and active the Business Profile is, how many recent reviews mention the procedure, how consistently the practice's name, address and phone number appear across the web, and whether the website itself says, in structured data and plain language, that this practice places implants in this place.
Most profiles we audit are missing half of those signals. Categories are set to "Dentist" with no implant services listed, photos are years old, reviews arrive in clusters when the front desk remembers to ask, and the citation footprint disagrees with itself across the big directories. Fixing those is unglamorous work, which is why it is rarely done — and why it moves rankings.
Reviews and citations as an operating system, not a campaign
Review velocity only helps when it is steady. We put a request into the post-visit workflow so every implant and hygiene patient is asked the same way at the same moment, respond to every review within two days in the practice's voice, and track the procedure keywords patients use in their own words. On the citation side, onboarding includes an audit of the major health, local and dental directories, a clean-up of inconsistent listings, and ongoing monitoring so a changed phone number does not quietly erode trust.
The content network around the profile
A single site cannot cover every implant query in a metro. Our multi-domain architecture surrounds the practice's main site with implant-specific domains and city and neighbourhood pages, each with genuinely distinct content about the procedure, the cost conversation and the surgeon — not a city name swapped into a template. Commercial pages are built to rank and to convert, with financing detail, before-and-after proof and a short form. Rankings are tracked weekly at neighbourhood grid level, and competitor profiles are reviewed monthly so a gain is defended, not just reported.

All FAQs →How important is the Google map pack for implant practices?
- Critical. Roughly 86% of patients who book an implant consultation look at the Google 3-pack at some point during their research. Ranking in the top three for 'dental implants [city]' and 8–12 related modifiers generates 35–55 organic implant inquiries per month at near-zero marginal cost — a moat that compounds every month.
How long does dental implant SEO take to produce booked consultations?
- Local map-pack rankings typically improve within 60–120 days of focused GBP optimization. Traditional organic rankings on commercial implant terms take 6–12 months in mid-sized markets and 9–18 months in major metros. A fully built program produces 35–55 monthly organic implant inquiries by month 9–12, compounding at near-zero marginal cost from there.
Is local SEO or traditional SEO more important for dental implants?
- Both, in that order. Local SEO and the map pack drive roughly 60–70% of organic implant inquiries because 86% of buyers check the 3-pack during research. Traditional organic rankings on commercial keywords drive the remaining 30–40%. A complete program invests in both, with map-pack optimization producing faster wins and traditional SEO compounding over years.
